Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions

I got Spiderman in the mail yesterday and I gotta say it's really fun. You get to play 4 different spidermen from different universes and fight all the spidey villians. And what I think is really cool is that each spiderman is voiced by a different guy who did the voice of spiderman in a cartoon. The one place I think they dropped the ball is they put the Spiderman from "Spiderman and his Amazing Friends" as the Spiderman 2099 voice and I think his voice would have been much better as Spiderman Noir.

The main, classic Amazing Spiderman is voiced by NPH who did short lived spiderman cartoon. He's very good. The writing is really good too with the spidermen bantering with the villians. The dialog is based on where you are on a level, so if you're having a hard time with one spot they repeat the same line a million times and it's really annoying. Other times if you make it through the level really fast on the first try the villian or spiderman only says the line once and you'd like to hear it again. With Spiderman Noir there's very little banter, but you sneak a lot and you hear the villians talking and revealing plot which is cool, also fitting the whole noir feel he narrates like a detective from the 20's.

My favorite level so far is Ultimate Spiderman vs. Deadpool. He does lots of crazy stuff you'd expect Deadpool to do and his minions are his Production Assistants, by which he means unpaid interns, by which he means his fans. When you get to the final fight against him he says "you realize these are my fans right? They buy my stuff, they're my main source of income!" Deadpool also taunts you when you collect the emblems around his level with "gotta collect 'em all!" and "lookie lookie you got a cookie!" or "can you redeem those for cash?"
