matt's 30th
We went to Atlantic City for Matt's birthday. It was fun. Sam and I left Friday night and it only took 4 hours which was good considering we left during rush hour and probably half an hour of that was trying to find gas in back woods New Jersey. The crazy thing was driving up cost $19.90 in tolls. You would think New Jersey would be the worst offender but their tolls are reasonable there are just way too many of them. Delaware was much worse charging 5 dollars at one toll and 3 dollars 10 miles down the road. On the way home we got smarter about the tolls and the one on 95 in MD is only one way so we only spent $10.15.
Friday night was a lot of fun as we stayed up late and played Magic into the wee hours. Then Sam woke me up the next morning complaining how she had to pee every morning at the same time. This led me to try and push her off the air mattress telling her her side was the floor! This led to the whole condo waking up and because the clocks in the condo had not been set back for daylight savings time we were at breakfast around 7:30am. When we got back from breakfast we should have taken naps, but instead played more Magic! Then when were exhausted Maya's aunt called and told us we needed to clean the condo and get out from 2-3 because they were showing it.
After we left we picked up Jake, walked back to the condo and chilled while we waited for the others. Met up for dinner at the Trump and gambled a little before hand. Tj lost money, but Maya won it on a Gnome slot machine. I hung out with Erica and Val at the bar and told Heather she looks like Gianna from Sam's work, she totally does but I don't think she believed me. Dinner was fun and Irish. Jake ended up putting extra money in since we were a little short, he was the hero.
Then it was more gambling at Ceaser's. Sam and I hung out with a Jake a bit and Sam and I managed to play with the same 20 dollars for quite a while which is the best I hope for when gambling. I got a text that James had won 300 dollars on some random slot machine. After meeting up one more time people started to go separate ways so Sam and I headed back to the condo.
A pretty good weekend other than the crazy prices of food we did pretty well. Still spent more money than we should have but didn't loose too much gambling so that's a plus. Next morning we dropped Jake off at the trump and Matt signed for him.
