(no subject)
So another DnD update for those who care. Personally I get excited about all this. The PHB 2 will have sorcerors and they will be an arcane class and a controller. They've have their own spell list seperate from wizards unlike 3rd, should be neat to see. Barbarians are of course confirmed as well as a primal class. Druids will also be around as a primal class, my bet is that you pick your wild shape form at level 1 like how rangers go two-weapon or archer, or warlocks pick a pact. Shamans will be another primal class, how similar will they be to WoW shamans remains to be seen, if they get shields they're broken! Bards are also going to be around as another arcane class, no news on what they'll be able to do.
Races in PHB 2, there will be gnomes, half-orcs, goliaths, shifters and devas. Aasimars have for some reason been renamed devas. I don't know.
Draconomicon 1 will be all about the chromatics, and there will be three new official chromatic dragons. Brown finally gets the promotion (they've always been one of my favorites), Yellow continues to remain MIA since 2nd, Purple and Grey will be included. Purple and Grey? Never heard of 'em.
Also even though it'll be another year and a half Psionics have pretty much been confirmed to be in the PHB 3. In the original conception of 4th they came up with 8 power sources, we've seen three already in the PHB 1 martial, arcane and divine. Arcane and divine will pop up in the PHB 2 again along with Primal so that's 4. We know there's also Psionics and Ki, Ki being for monks, ninjas and the like so that's 6. I've heard tell that another power source will be Elemental.
