Author's Note: This is.. Such crack. Well, not really, but the image hasn't left my head since last week's episode, and I had to do something to get it out. And my overly pretentious (especially for this fic) title is Latin for "The remedy is worse than the disease."
Afterwards, it didn’t seem half as good an idea as Karen had made it out to be, but apparently everything sounds better when you’re so drunk you can’t see straight. He wouldn’t deny it had been an interesting experience, if not an extremely unpleasant one, because three people attempting to have sex while drunk off their asses was bound to be problematic, but it hadn’t been as bad as it could have been. At least he remembered it, which proved he was probably more sober than Karen and Lisa were at the time. (Although he’d give anything to forget it, which was just not how his luck worked, obviously.)
He half-considered carrying Lisa to one of the guest bedrooms and finishing the night (although it was almost dawn now) there sans Karen, but his muscles protested even the slightest movement, so he just silently prayed that Lisa wouldn’t wake up, realize what had happened, and smother them with a pillow out of blind rage.
He sighed, feeling the twinge of the hangover coming on (a little late to the party, but here anyway), not helped by the fact that Karen’s snoring in his ear was practically like cannon fire. What he needed right now was sleep, a brief moment to embrace the madness and accept it as it was, lest he go mad himself. He’d deal with the ramifications (and the hangover) in the morning.... Or the afternoon. Whichever.
And besides, at this point a drunken threesome between him, his wife, and his ex-girlfriend was the least of his problems.
