celebrating a golden anniversary. bonding with my mom.
yesterday was ian's grandparent's 50th golden anniversary. they are still so young and already celebrating their 50th. it was a very busy and wonderful day. it started off with riding a hummer limo to the wedding and back to the house.
for the reception, it was pretty busy. i was asked to be the party coordinator. as much as i love being on time, i tried to get everything organized and keep the guests as happy as possible. the entrance was great! they all looked like they had fun. so anyhow, it was a pretty fun night. i was up on my feet all night and woke up to my fourth toe being numb all day long today.
today, i spent most of the day with my mom. we had lunch at korean bbq. mm, i miss that place. then we ate some gelato at a local ice cream place. we headed to rite aid and ralphs to get a few things, then finally went back home. i got to see ian today as well and FINALLY watched "chronicles of narnia." we bought it awhile back and today was the first day we got to see it. so it was a pretty relaxing day.
i just hope my numb toe starts getting it's feeling back by tomorrow. if it gets severe, i may need surgery. i hope i won't need that, and i hope it's not a sign of diabetes.
oh yah, and i also finally got to talk to my dad! he misses us. hehe, i miss him too.
