flood repercussions
when we woke up today, it smelled like poop moldy carpet in the living room. we had the windows open all day.. it got pretty cold... and we febreezed the carpet at least 3 times. the smell isn't as noticeable as before, but you DEFINITELY notice it when you first enter the room.
the carpet's also significantly darker in the formerly wet spots than on the unaffected parts. i'm worried we'll have to get it professionally cleaned, and that the landlords might not pay for it. it would be within their rights, since the whole thing was our fault... but we just did all our christmas shopping, and i'm graduating so i won't be getting as much money from momma anymore.
speaking of spending money, i bought a couple cute things from old navy and target. and i'm hoping my mom will buy me these boots for christmas.
does anyone know if getting a pro to come in and do it is any different from renting one of those shampoo vacuum thingies at the supermarket? blurgh. finals are in just over a week. crap due next week. praxis test monday. blahblahblah. at least it's all almost over.
