"DOWN IN THEIR HEARTS, WISE MEN KNOW THIS TRUTH: THE ONLY WAY TO HELP YOURSELF IS TO HELP OTHERS."
-Elbert Hubbard
I am finally done this test...well actually I am not done at all. I have one more step left. But I am not going to do it cause I don't get it. We have a subsitute anyway. Mrs. Jones didn't leave me any work in my folder, so I guess I cannot do anything...lol. I had so much fun today in french class. Miss Craven gave us a free day. We just sat around and played some french games. Me, Katie, Desiree and Sarah played this game...I forget what it's called...something in french. It was a card game...it was really fun.
On Sunday there is a concert that I want to go to. It's a Rachael Lampa concert. Tickets are like $12. I don't have $12. I thought the concert was a couple weeks from now. Man...I really want my CD signed. And maybe a picture. Yea...If I could go to that, that would be my highlight of the weekend.
When I get home I have to try to put my contacts in so I can get allowance tomorrow. Let me tell you the story of my contacts. I had went to the eye doctor last year for a normal check-up. I go all happy thinking that I am going to get some new glasses. (I really like glasses!) Instead the doctor tells me that my cornea is very rigid and that glasses will not help, but instead make the problem worse. He said that I had two choices: 1. get the contacts or 2. get an operation to give me a new cornea. I personally opted for a new cornea, but mom said contacts. I go to the doctors again a week later to get the contacts. They make me try them on in the place. First the doctor put them in my eyes (which sucked-do not let those contact commericals fool you) and then I had to take them out and put them in serveral times. I was there for 3 hours, crying like a baby. I really didn't want them. I wore them for a couple of months (still hating them) and then they broke. After they got fixed I wore them for a while again. But then one night I had feel asleep in them. When I woke up my eye was fine, it was just a little dry. But the next day when I woke up, my eyes were very senitive to light. But after a couple of hours it got better. About 3 days later, I woke up and my eye was ultra sensitive to light. Even refridgerator light bothered my eyes. At night time I had to walk around with two pairs of sunglasses on. The last time I wore the contacts were in Novemember and when I wore them then my eyes turned beet red. And I haven't wore them since.
Wow...that was a lot, but it got you up to speed. The thing is I really really don't want to wear them. But I need some money this weekend so I can buy a few things. You guys have a good weekend. Later Dayz!
