there's nothing like the sound of a car crash
i drove out to auntie joanne's house to watch my cousin katelyn and make a memory book of my confirmation. i made it all the way there and back into town no sweat, and i was going to go to the library. i was turning left and BAM! i got hit by a girl going straight... smoke came out everywhere and the airbag went off. i'm pretty much fine, i've got some mark on my face from hitting something, my finger's jammed and i've got a bruise on my knee. the girl had some chest pains from her seatbelt... that's the only damage done...
my mom came and she fell down crossing the street to get her camera and hurt her ankle really bad. heh, she's more injured than i am and i was the one who was in a car accident.
i'm still really shaken up by it though. i take so much for granted in my life, and there's no guarantee anywhere about how much time i've got left...
stuff like this always comes with no warning, and sometimes it's minor, and other times it's fatal...
i'm really thankful for all i've got in my life... and i'm thankful to simply be alive.
