To alleviate the steering crunching sound and impossible turning (yeah it's still a problem), I broke a grease nipple in the process of trying to put fresh grease in the kingpin to push out any dirt/rust/water which may be the big problem. Don't you hate it when your grease nipples break? Tonite I put in a new nipple and found that it is impossible to get the dirt/rust/water out and to get the grease in. I think I need to use a heat gun and warm up what may be ice within the kingpin bearing. If that doesn't work then I fear I may have to dissasemble the entire front suspension....YIPPEEE.
I am now the proud renter of a shop space adjacent to Prof. Hobo's. Well, at least for the next fourteen days. Within this time frame I hope to completely repair my holey floor thus upgrading my car's status from "Flinstone" to "Normal".
