prom rant and random talent show pics
So exactly one week ago was my first prom. It was actually pretty sweet, which I wasn't expecting at all. The set-up was all bright and colorful, and they actually did NOT play all rap music. Every school dance I have ever gone to has played 98% rap shit, and due to a recent miracle, this dance played only about 80% rap. They even played some electronic. Of course I just bounced around like a loser the entire time because I still need to learn how to dance using a daily dosage of random youtube videos. I would ask other people for help, but the only thing anyone does around here is dry humping.
The thing that annoys me is that people were complaining because it was 'impossible to dance to' a lot of the music. No, it was very possible to dance to the music, it's just that YOU couldn't because all you know how to dance to is rap. I'm sorry, but people sure are coming off as selfish when they complain that they didn't like every song, which is probably because not every song was rap. "But it's what's popular!" And why do I care? Oh wait, that's right. Only popular people are allowed to enjoy prom, so everybody else should just get over it, leave, or join in the public orgy. NOTHNXLOL
