This weekend was totally amazing!
I did my very first photo shoot on Saturday evening. It was for the posters for an Opera that is going on in June in town. It was only two people. A girl who is playing a fairy queen and an older man, in his 60s. I pretty much just needed to make him look a little younger/healthier. The photographer was really awesome and I think clicked with me. She seemed to like the idea of me working with her more often and helping me get started. She already suggested me for the makeup artist for a UT fashion show? She took before and after pictures of the girl's makeup for my portfolio. :)
Once I was done with that I went over to Sarah's and got to hang out with the gang and celebrate. It felt so good to have awesome friends who supported me and were just as excited for me. They had been drinking pretty much all day so it was a very funny night hehe.
The next day we went to Sarah's friend's pool and barbequed! It was awesome. I brought bubble wands, frisbee, velcro catch, and an owl kite we couldn't figure out how to put together. Tried to swim btu it was WAY too cold. I grilled these awesome scrimps and made poboys. So good! Then hung out at Sarah's for the rest of the evening....blurry...drunk...sleep
Yesterday I went to crew hours but Charli wasn't there so it was sooo boring I only stayed two hours. I ran into her as I was leaving and decided to skip class with her and help her move so we pretty much just smoked, packed, and played with cats all day. Then I spent some time hanging out with Jeff. Then I was super sleepy time and I just drank some wine and watched tv all night.
I have been letting myself relax and have fun all weekend but now its hard to stay productive during the week. I have a lot of things I need to do today but don't have to be anywhere until four so hopefully I will stay productive. Better hop to it!
