Ok, well I know I don't post that often, Infact I had this pointed out to me by a friend yesterday. So Just to let you all know I'm alive and well and so far not dead and all that jazz.
But I thought i'd post here something that amused me deeply when I recieved it. The basic story behind it is that I have funally bought my sister a birthday present. So there i go and buy the CD from a website and get an automated e-mail telling me that it was just a friendly mail to confirm the order and that a real person will e-mail me when it is posted.
Well this morning I got the human e-mail and thought i'd share part of it with you...
Your CD has been gently taken from our CD Baby shelves with
sterilized contamination-free gloves and placed onto a satin pillow.
A team of 50 employees inspected your CD and polished it to make sure
it was in the best possible condition before mailing.
Our packing specialist from Japan lit a candle and a hush fell over
the crowd as he put your CD into the finest gold-lined box that money
can buy.
We all had a wonderful celebration afterwards and the whole party
marched down the street to the post office where the entire town of
Portland waved "Bon Voyage!" to your package, on its way to you, in
our private CD Baby jet on this day, Tuesday, March 27th.
I hope you had a wonderful time shopping at CD Baby. We sure did.
Your picture is on our wall as "Customer of the Year." We're all
exhausted but can't wait for you to come back to CDBABY.COM!!

I hope this amuses you as much as it amuses me. It's nice to see people enjoying their work and a bit of Tongue being placed firmly in cheek.
Now I hope this is all followed up by the CD arriving in good order etc.
