I made out quite nicely between berfday and graduation:
- $4000 cash
- A trip to Vegas
- Food Network Favorites Cookbook
- 3 year Bally's membership
- Tiffany Bracelet
- Tiffany "Bean" Necklace
- Planet Funk shirt
- White silk robe
- Sephora Gift Card
- Robinson's May Gift Card
- Macy's Gift Cards
- Coach Gift Card
- Glen Ivy Spa Certificate
- Coach Briefcase
My goal is to save at least $5000 (between work-earned money and the gift money), pay off my credit cards (only about $1500 in debt left!) and buy a sewing machine and digital camera. Anything else will go to bills and PLAYING!
Earlier this week I went to Whole Foods and rocked the casbah. I spent about $100 and ended up with three full meals worth of groceries.
Monday night I cooked dinner for my parents and sister:
- Tomato bisque with cheddar and sour cream over french baguette slices
- Crab-stuffed bell peppers with brown rice and asparagus
Last night I made dinner for Hathaway and I:
- Two steamed artichokes
- Spinach and romaine salad with fresh blue cheese, candied pecans, red onion and cherry tomato slices in a rasberry vinagarette
- Whole Dungeness crab served Italiano-style (with white wine, EVOO, parsely, garlic, S&P and butter)
Friday night I'm making dinner for JH and I again:
- Fried pork chops stuffed with apples and cinnamon
- Side: baked sweet potatoes with marshmallow topping and cornbread (with a ton of butter -- soul food requisite!)
Not to mention that I also got a cup of seafood gumbo and two quarts of Naked juice in addition to all that! Not bad for boughie-ass Whole Foods!
