Welcome Home
Updating from my new apartment by stealing wireless. My parents brought way too much stuff, and we are currently in the midst of unpacking the kitchen. I thouhgt it would be a drop-and-go thing, and I would go look at beds and do all this unpacking on MOnday. But alas, 'tis not the case.
The apartment is gorgeous, although I am not sure the stairways are big enough to actually get furniture up and own. That will be another task for another day, however. We had some botch up with the keys, but hopefully that'll get fixed. My room is cozy, and I think with a queen sized bed, I will have just enough room for a bureau and maybe a small desk-type thing. I still have not made a decision about my desktop. If I decide to send it home, there's a lot of stuff I need off it. If I keep it...well, that means I need a place to put it, and it probably won't be hooked up to the internet. We shall see. It just occured to me that a bookshelf might be nice. Although I have four very lovely Jaffa cubes that have suited me well in the past. And they're stackabe(!).
More unpacking, probably a trip to a Home Depot-type place, a visit to the mattress store, and probably another swing back here. I just have to figure out where to put my bike, and I have two things from my car (printer which I might finally buy ink for), and books.
I might leave more in g'burg than I had planned. Anyone want some pots? They aren't high quality, but they are sufficient.
Back to the burg in the AM in time for pumphandle at 11. Man, Senior week is damn tiring.
