Tra la la

Today I got my haircut. Jess did it and she's my new hero. I have bangs. Neat.

I also gave blood. For the first time in over a year, I passed the blood test. My iron was at 38%, which is the lowest it can be to donate. I was fine during the donating, fine to get to the "canteen area", ate a piece of pizza and two oreos, and stood up to get going, and felt seriously dizzy. Luckily, Christy had just failed her blood test, and was near me. I had her go get someone to get me a recovery bed. I got to sit in the neat orange chair, and spent about 45 minutes with my feet up. Came home and laid down, then had to lay down with my feet up a few times during the haircut. Moral of the story is not to give blood right after working out.

My defense has been moved to May 16 due to a conflict with my outside examiner. It will be done via conference call. I was supposed to have a meeting today with Liz, but she cancelled on me.

I slept 10 hours last night, and am still tired. I can't tell if this is my body's way of telling me that it's done with me treating it like I have been, or I am still getting over the plague from a week and a half ago.
