The Demo is underway
The recording got started last week. I"m doing the guitar part for each track first, cause hey thats where I start. I'm still working on getting them all down. No cuts and loops here. I will play the whole thing through perfect. I may layer lead parts over the top, but the rythym guitar will be live tracked. I'm through 5 songs. It's shaping up to be an 18 track hour long deal. After thats done, I'm taking it and sitting down with a friend on a Mac G5 8-Track protools set up. He happens to be a DJ/Drummer, with a decent keyboard. We're going to sit and do the drum and bass tracks. Them, I shall take it and copyright it. At that point, I'm thinking I should go find Jeremey and try and recruit a band out of the bay area.
The frist rough copy passed the first test of a rock album. Crank it in the car. Zone out on the highway. Find yourself speeding a bit? It's a good one if you do. For me anyway.
No good smoke around for the last 2 weeks, probably aing tonna be any for atleast one more. Scwagg/Stress/Mexican whatever you call it, Thats all I can find, not TOO bad, does the trick, but definatly not all that enjoyable.
Ehhh back to the grind, I want to be laying drumpracks by next week. I tell you this is the most intense I've ever practiced. I'm getting in a solid 8-10 hrs a day
