Shaved Again
I shaved my pubic area pretty carefully again today, but used a different method than I've used before. About a month or so ago I had read online somewhere about shaving using baby powder -- cornstarch, to be more specific -- instead of shaving cream or soap and hot water. Up until now I almost always shaved in the shower using shaving gel and hot water. But today I decided to try the baby powder, and, I'm pleased to report, it worked great!
There are a couple of advantages to the cornstarch, I quickly discovered. First, obviously, it's less messy and you don't have to do it in the shower (or make a mess at the sink). Second, it's so much easier to see your progress, to see what you're doing! I shaved in front of the bathroom sink, which is also in front of a large mirror, so it was very easy to see my progress. I patted on a very generous coating of baby powder all over my penis, balls, and surrounding pubic area, then used a normal razor, dry, to shave. It was very smooth and easy, no pain, no hair pulling, no cuts, no blood. And I'm smooth as a baby down there again!
I'm not sure it's quite as smooth as a wet shave would be, but you could easily do a quick once-over with a wet shave in the shower after the powder shave if you wanted, which would be much easier and quicker than doing the whole thing in the shower. And considering the smoothness doesn't last long anyway, the powder shave is good enough for now. I think I've found a new method that just may encourage me to shave more often! It would also be a great way to shave someone else.
