BROOKLYN BOUND....

talked to leeanne on the phone for a while and then i called adam and drove to south brooklyn to hang out with him.. on our way to the record store we run into dave who played drums for beerzone and some other bands before... it's unbelievable how small this city is.. we never met before, but he he realized me from my myspace pix and he even wrote me earlier this morning... we talked for a while on the streets about music, bands, common friends, etc and walked together to some record stores.. i bought me some rockabilly 45s, a mad parade cd and an effigies album, while adam get some powerpop stuff... we ended at adams house watching a vh1 documentary about nazi skinheads (adam worked for vh1) and a movie called "revenge of the nerds"...
today my german friend phillip from dc is coming up for recordshopping at bleeker and st. marks...
