Potato 2011.05 - Bloom/Bright/Multiplication

(Scan from Inala - As present for some *mean girls* that accuse me to bully Tegomass...nyahahahah XP)

Ryo

It may be seem a stock answer but when I hear the words "in full bloom" I think to cherry blossoms. Recently in February I had the chance to shoot with cherry blossoms and I was surprised to see them in this season. Talking about it, I never did a Hanami in my whole life! That's why I'd like to try it once. I mean, there's a better excuse for adults to have a great feast outdoor in the daytime than Hanami? (lol)

If you say "It's bright!" I think to another common things, the stars. Recently I stood out for the night when I went to do snowboard, when I casually looked to the sky above I saw a lot of stars. Even in Tokyo you can see beautiful stars in Winter but of course it's no match for mountain's sky. I was really impressed. When you look at the stars you're innocent. You don't remember or think to anything, anybody. You're just all taken getting moved: "Amazing!", "So pretty!". When there's a big full moon the boys are like wolves, it's possible that we enter a kinda ecchi mood. Just kidding! (lol)

[Yeah sure... >_> lol]

The things that are getting more and more are DVDs! Since if I borrow them I forget to return them I started to buy the movies I want to see, the problem is that my pace in buying them is certainly faster than the one is seeing them so I can't catch up! (lol). Once I watched them I collect them putting them on a bookshelf or send them to my dad. He loves movies too, it often happens that he recommend interesting movies to me. Like the one I watched lately, "Crash".

Lately I didn't meet NEWS members. I knew that Tegomass released a CD through the CM (lol). I'm seeing P of course. Two weeks ago I contacted him and we went out with common friends. We never talk about work but I want him to do his best for the tour. Hadakanbo ♪

Yamapi

If we take the verb "to bloom" with the meaning of human growth and abilities, isn't the best period when you're just a "bud"? The best is when you can still ask when it will open... That's why I don't want to bloom until the full blooming (lol). As an actor I wonder if it wouldn't be better to not star in dramas and movies continuously. Maybe it's better to work once a year only when I will think that a piece is really interesting.

[Interesting change of mentality for Yamapi...]

Talking about the keyword "multiplication", the things that I keep collecting are shoes. And jackets. I'm not so much greed, I try to buy them only once in a while. Because when I like something I always wear it endlessly.

Who I think is bright recently? The boxing player from the minimum-class Ioka Kazuto. I could watch the moment in which he became the WBC world's champion from near and I felt like crying in sympathy. Wah, I was so moved! When he won I stood up yelling "Yeeeey!!". Don't you think that's rare? I'm always like this when I watch sports. Also when I'm watching soccer matches at home I end up like this: (in a winning pose) "Yoshh!" (lol). Thanks to "Ashita no Joe" I had a little contact with the boxing and I could understand more than normal people how much the path to victory is hard. Boxers have to cut all their needs. They maltreat their bodies not eating and drinking. They are that much strong. The ones who succeed in become champion are amazing people, I think.

Thinking to Spring a very important memory is from the graduation ceremony of the 3rd year of high school. I wailed. I was surrounded by great teachers and mates. This year's Spring I'm well-intentioned to study. I want to read and watch movies. Since now I had lots of outputs so now I want to have more inputs.

Tegoshi

Last year I did a Hanami for the first time in my life, but the main event then was drinking alcohol outdoor more than watching the flowers. It was cold and I had allergy so it was hard! Anyway it was funny so if I'll have time I'd like to do it again.

The things I keep collecting are things related to videogames. I really love them. When a new compact version of a consolle is released or something new comes out I absolutely want to buy it! I also buy softwares and walkthrough books. Walkthrough are essential to search objects once you completed the game. I want to go to the very end of games (lol). Right now soccer and RPGs are side by side to me. During the shootings for the drama I could play RPGs for an hour during the pauses, once I was over with shootings I went to play soccer (lol).

[NERD 8D]

The person that I think is very bright at the moment is the soccer player Nagatomo Yuto. Right now he plays in the serie A's Inter, the team that won the world championship last year. It's amazing that he could work abroad. When we go abroad we gain power from many people but in soccer you can go on only with your own abilities. Seeing him work in a team at the peak of the world is a great stimulus. We also have quite the same age. Being able to play in other countries at the age of 23-24 is really difficult. Players like Uchida and Okazaki, who are also my friends, are all going abroad too. I'm sad that I won't get to see them but I'm very happy for them. During the Asian Cup I sent them a mail: "Show everybody Japan's power!" (lol).

[Inter is an Italian team *v*]

I'm still working for the drama (Interview taken on the first half of March) so I haven't much time for my private life. Once the drama will be over for first I want to dye my hair, then I absolutely want to have a trip with friends! I don't care where, all I want is to go to the Onsen and sleep a lot, wake up late and have a viking breakfast...

Massu

Talking about "blooming" in this season of course I think of cherry blossoms. When I see that pink color I have a nice feeling. When I was little I simply though "Oh they bloomed!". Now that I'm older I can sense the season watching them, they make me remember the goodbyes of the graduation ceremony and the new meetings entering the university...so many things, it's a period of changes. Seeing people having fun doing Hanami and other things, lately I started to really like the time when the cherry blossoms open. In particular you can fully enjoy a Hanami when you're adult, right? Just walking in a park watching the flowers can be funny.

Something bright recently? "Aoi Bench", right (lol). Many people told me that they liked it, I'm grateful! Singing a cover of Sasuke-san I'm happy if we could make the song bright again. Recently when I went to karaoke my friends sang it. They asked me to sing it too but in the end everybody wanted to sing it. It's a good song to sing and listen too.

Right, everybody watched "3B Kinpachi Sensei's final"? In my script there were only answers this time. Watching that I got many memories of that time. For example, once I had to say a line as conclusion of a 20 minutes long scene. If I got it wrong I would have messed up everything so I was under pressure, I made up many excuses (lol). To me that was the first drama, there were many times in which I had to say a single word like "What are you saying?" after a very long speech by Takeda-san. I remembered all that during the shootings for the final. I was really excited back then (lol). Anyway it was like a class reunion, it was funny.

Shige

The things that make me sense Spring the most are seasonal vegetables. Like taranome, fukinoto, they are all delicious! (lol). I really like them. I don't eat too much things like tenpura because of calories but when I see them my will is shaken. I end up to eat it.

I never did a real Hanami yet. In my neighborhood there are rows of cherry trees so I always go to walk there when it's Spring, but there are too many people. That's why I'd like to find a way to enjoy cherry blossoms by myself.

Something bright that I watched recently are the Academy awards. In particular the actor who won the prize with "The King's speech", Colin Firth was sparkly. Since I watched the movie "Single Man" last year he's my favourite actor. Too bad that a lot of movies, like "Black Swan" that made Natalie Portman win the prize for Best Actress, aren't out yet in Japan. I want to watch them soon!

The things that are multiplicating without me noticing? Plastic heat-resistent containers. Because I keep exchanging Tsukudani (Food boiled down in sweetened soy) cooked by my friends with the Umeboshi I pickled (lol). I also use them when I give people sashimi with fishes I caught or to freeze the meals I cooked. That's why everytime I go to the mall I buy some. Then, I'm gathering many ice packs. When I give my friends the fishes I need to use many of them. They still have to bring me back them (lol).

This Spring I want to do a general housecleaning. I also want to go to fish more. I think that it's about time that the Prince will come back from Monsterland so I'll try to contact him (lol).

It's been decided that I'll work in "Bakushou Mondai no taihen yoku dekimashita!" (Tv Tokyo - Friday 7pm)! It will be a talk variety show with kids. I was an only child and in my everyday life I don't have many occasions to be with children, I think I'll be shy with them. Anyway I think this is a good opportunity so I will do my best! I'm sure that kids will bully me though (lol).

[You're the most boring guy of the world ♥ LOL  I forgive him only because his favourite actor is Colin-OMG-Firth, I love him so much X_X And because I can't wait to see him bullied by kids :D]

Koyama

The ones who spark the most in Spring are the 2st year students, right! My nephew too will begin elementary school this year. It seems he already received his school back and was really happy. I bought clothes for him. Since there's also a younger boy I bought pretty clothes for both of them. Like pink pants, I decided by myself that they were fashionable (lol). Because usually nobody choose that color. I was happy when they called and told me "Thanks! Those are the ones I liked the most!". I also received a call from the younger one, I could totally hear my sister from behind him saying "Say him thanks!" (lol). It made me realize how much they grew up, now they can talk so much. The older one has still the image of the kid who doesn't talk much but he was really grateful when he called me. Moreover he really likes to turn me over (lol). Because when he said that he loved my presents I felt like buying more to him.

The things I'm collecting...when I go to the drugstore I have the habit to refill my fabric softener, etc. That's why I end up stocking 3 bottles of it (lol). I gather like 5 bottles of body soap. When you enter my bath it looks like a shelf of the drugstore (lol).

This April my 2nd year in "News every." will begin. Thanks to this work this year I've been able to face myself with the actual Japan. I've been touched by the lives of the people I've meet in different locations, it's like I'm gathering all this experience in a drawer inside of me...right now I'm eating sushi with a cute character face on them, eating cute stuff like this and talking so seriously is embarrassing me (lol).

[Here I skipped a line that I didn't get, honestly 8D Koyashige are such housewives]

Anyway...how much sad is it that so many NEWS fans are leaving? It really brings me down...I hope that things will be better soon. Let's be together and stay strong in the meantime, we must do it for our boys >< Fighting fans for fighting men!!
