This is a special article for Popolo (2010.12) because it was a big report of NEWS concert in Tokyo Dome ^__^

Shige showed us the side of the 6 boys that we don't usually see: "I took these pics all excited thinking to this service so don't lose them!"

"This Yamashita is pretty rare, huh?"
Ashita no JOE!? KABUKI!?
Shige explains: At first he was the usual cool Yamashita we all know but while I was shooting he turned into Ashita no Joe and then a Kabuki actor! Maybe because during the encore we were at the MAX of the excitment? I could show you a precious side of the cool Yamashita-kun.
1. Yamapi during the rehearsal. He checked every single corner of the stage to be sure that every fan could enjoy the show at their best. Even his back looks amazing <3
2. Running on the stage he greets the fans. Yamapi wished it wasn't over yet!
3. The encore of the last concert. The last song of course was Koi no ABO. Singing and dancing, we had a big chorus~ Here it is Yamapi's look.
4. "I took this for the lights". Yamapi as usually looks sparkly!
5. The rehearsal with his private clothes. A paparazzi pic of Yamapi trying his solo song! "I took this in B&W because he was so serious and I wanted to express the right atmosphere".
6. The T-shirt that the members designed all together wet of sweat! A pic taken very close to Yamapi! The only one who could take a private picture like this is Shige.
7. The cool Yamapi showed this pose only because it was his companion Shige taking it, a real treasure. We also have a "peace" from Massu.

Q: Who was the most talkative one during the meetings?
A: Massu, he gave us many ideas. When he couldn't express them too well he shook the one near to him "Say it!" (lol). So cute!

Koyama's ON - Koyama's OFF
Shige explains: In the OFF pic he was worried about Nishikido-kun's closing words so he was watching over him from out the stage. The difference with the excited "ON Koyama" is so big! This is the real Koyama that nobody ever notice.
1. "I took this while I looked exactly like him (lol)". Here it is a secret picture of Koyama while they were changing clothes for Koyashige corner!
2. A picture from the dressing room. The tension for the concert about to begin is pushing in. A B&W photo full of atmosphere.

Q. Who was the one always eating Gyuudon during the meetings?
A. Me! I always brought it with me. But Shige usually ate all my meat so I was left only with the white rice (T_T). Shige always ate my meal so casually (è_é)!

"Nishikido-kun during the rehearsal is so nice!"
It's not a simple hobby!!
Shige explains: Since I didn't tell that I was taking pictures for the service Ryo told me: "Always with this hobby of yours, camera brat!". During the rehearsal he was very concentrated, trying different songs to prepare his voice.
[Thank you Ryo, now I have a new nickname for Shige XDD]
1. During the encore they were very excited and they also went near the fans. This is what it looked like from the stage!
2. This bright smile is Ryo's proof of love for Shige!? Even Nishikido who tried to avoid Shige's camera since the beginning in the end showed this honest smile!

Q. During the others' solos what were the others doing?
A. Rest a little! (lol) We were in the dressing room supplying water and resting. In reality we were always busy with changing clothes and stuff. Sometimes we also stayed behind the stage watching.

"Taking pictures by myself is difficult!!"

Shige explains: I was thinking that taking pictures by myself I don't have pics with me at all, of course. I tried to take some but my face always turned too weird...that's why I thought that the only way was taking pics in front of the mirror. I realized it only during the last show (lol).

Q. Who was the one who needed more relax time after a show?
A. Massu. He takes long showers! Everybody just wanted to wash the sweat away but I wonder how far did Massu go washing himself.....? It's a mystery (lol).

Shige explains: Showing pictures of the real Massu that we never see was a really difficult challenge. Excpecially because he was always so serious and nervous for the lives, everybody was the same though.
1. All excited with Yamapi! Look careful, this time the clothes were all designed by Massu himself!
2. The fashion master Massu during the encore with his hat. He greeted the fans with his fresh trademark smile!

A: Koyama. We were all talking about it so he went to buy one. We played Janken and he lost (lol). He bought us a make-box and a dryer too!

Shige explains: When he's in front of a camera Tegoshi is always smily. Watching at his happy face while screaming "Aichiteru~" to everybody you can feel his real face during the lives. Even if he does weird faces he's always cute, it's a miracle!

A: Shige, of course it's him. Expecially during the MCs, when he gave a punch line we were always ready to push him back down! Then in the dressing room he always regretted it (lol).

- "You want to listen more and more, right!?" With Koyama's words the last song starts!

Taking pictures of the members was difficult but I had a lot of fun! This year for my birthday I received a photo album of live pics from a friend. I'm happy I could take my own pictures too this time.

MASSU
It was my debut as designer!
I thought that the Tokyo Dome was a challenge because we had to run a lot from a corner of the stage to the other. With such a big stage we all wanted to do as many things as possible. We wanted to create the best atmosphere for all the fans. I was also in charge of creating the costumes! My favourite were the ones for Endless Summer, the camouflage pattern costumes.
- Yamapi hits Massu's butt during Koi no ABO of the last encore.
- Massu shows his singing power during the ballade "Yoru wa hoshi wo..."
- The red hat really suits Massu! During their debut song the big screens projected images from their earliest days too.
- During Summer Time they went around the stage a lot greeting everybody. Here it is Massu's big smile.
SHIGE
I sent flying kisses more than ever!?
Since it was our first live after 1 year and 8 months my body lacked exercise and I felt really awkward (lol). But there were many new songs too so it was really funny! In the great excitment I blowed many kisses which I usually don't do. Did you see that!? I sent a lot of them but maybe no one reached the fans (T_T).

- During Dancin' in the secret the boys changed into a black suit. They charmed everybody dancing.
- A shot with Tegoshi from the opening. The two good friends clinged to eachother.
- With a long green coat he flew with a big boat!
- Surreal dance & printed costumes, Koyashige time was really hilarious! Maybe one day they'll debut for real, is this their hope?
TEGOSHI
The ideator of the gondolas was me.
Did you hear well all the new songs!? Of course, NEWS searched for the best way to make people enjoy the lives. During the concerts we were all so excited but the best idea this time was from me! I said joking: "Can't we fly around with something?" but they turned it in reality in the end!
- Koyama & Tegoshi during Endless Summer. Koyama tickles cutely Tegoshi.
- In a checked suit they sang Forever looking very adult. Here it is a serious Tegoshi surrounded by sparkles.
- During Koi no ABO! Inside the fans too dance dance!
YAMAPI
"Fun" was our keyword for the lives!
This time "fun" was our keyword. We had a lot of old and new songs so it had to be amusing! This live was all projected by the 6 members together. We wanted to be as more close as possible this time, that's why we had the NEWS air gondolas. We couldn't wait to make everybody have fun!
- Yamapi & Massu. They sang with their faces close.
- During Happy Birthday they made an heart with their hands, hoping to reach everybody.
- During Teppen they all sang in the air so that everybody even in the 3rd raw could see them properly.
- The beginning of the show with Koi no ABO. The Dome was all lit by the penlight!
RYO
Inside the gondola it was like flying.
I'm so happy we could have Dome concerts after all this time! We also received many nice words by the fans who came to see us. The air gondolas were so funny! I love high places a lot so I was very excited by them. Singing in the gondolas while flying I couldn't stay still, I made the staff very angry (lol).

KOYAMA
We wanted a 150 points LIVE and we had it!
Since I think that the songs can change the mood I thought that the first song of the live is a very important thing. That's how we created the song list all together, the album songs, the songs that everybody know...We expecially wanted a stage that could reflect us. We aimed for a 150 points stage, do you think it worthed them!?
