MYOJO 2010.06 - NEWS & COLORS
Ryo
-I like all the colors. Really. Even when I was little I used all the color pencils in the same quantity. I used also the white one. I mixed it with the yellow. I added some white also to make the black a little lighter. Because a mixed color has a better depth. Mixing different colors you have a delicate color. Like grey. Japanese cities have a grey image but it can't be helped. Things can't be parted in black and white. Then, there are several greys, the blackish ones and the whitish ones. Everyone has its character. What color I am? Maah...if I have to say one, marble! Yes, it's not a color but a pattern (lol). If you mix it with dough it's a little like me, don't you think?
-When I have to choose colors I'm a little under pressure. But for the interior I have all raw materials. Right now it's all in wood so the color is mostly brown. For clothes it's really various. Recently I bought red denim. I found them in a second hand shop while I was out with friends, denim dyed in red. I also use pink shirts. I saw black people with pink shirts and I wanted to try them too. It looked so cool. No matter what I wear I'm cool. I use mostly plain white T-shirts, though, they are the ones that look the best on me. When I went to a big mall abroad I got excited and made a lot of shopping. "10 shirts for 10 dollars, cool!" Now I have a lot of the same plain white T-shirt (lol). Since I never get tired of them it's totally OK.
-I also like to gather shoes. Once I bought 8 pair of shoes in different colors. The same sneakers but with various colors. I like Jack Purcell and All stars, I have them in a lot of colors. I have fun choosing them everyday, I can also match different colors with my friends. But in the end I think that between those 8 shoes I always wear the same ones. But I forgot what color are they (lol).
Yamapi
-I have a lot of favourite colors. The ones I wear the most are black and red. Then green too. I also like weird colors, those ones that you don't know how to name them "Eh? What color is this!?". I have a lot of jackets in those colors. When I wear a rare color it's also funny to think how to combinate it. Going to shopping and choosing colors is a good feeling. But I never failed. Sometimes I mistaked size because I didn't try them on but I never regretted the choice of the color. The clothes I wear don't fit only my day's mood. I have a "lucky color" for when I go in TV for example but I don't put to much attention to it. The lucky color is good but I don't want to have any "unlucky color"....
-Between the natural colors I like blue. The color of the sky when there are some white clouds. I also like the sea blue. The first time I saw the pure blue sea I felt moved. I think it was in Okinawa. The sea was so much blue. I like the sea everywhere but that was the first time I really felt the "blue" of it, I was so happy.
-I change my hair's color according to the work I'm doing. I'm influenced by the hairstyle and the clothes that my acting character have. If I'm doing a bright character I want the color of my hair lighter and if I'm doing a serious role I think that black hair are the best. About the hairstyle, we choose it during the first work meeting or it comes out naturally during the work but it's very important to talk about it with the staff during the process of creation of the character. In the CD jacket, the colors of the clothes in the PV, you have to think about a lot of things. There are also colors that fits well the image of a song or the image of the season in which it will be released. Like "If it comes out in autumn calm colors are better".
Well, in Sakura Girl we used almost everything in the cherry blossoms' color (lol). We said a lot of times that NEWS' color image is white. But we never thought to create such image. Everyone of us as a different color. Even if we want to show different charms, different colors there are still people who think "NEWS are great in white". This makes me happy.
Koyama
-My favourite colour is red. It never changed since I was little. This was because I liked Gachapin more than Mukku and looking to the old pictures I always wore red clothes. Right now too I have a lot of red clothes, like shirts. Also a lot of red underwear...oh! Today without notice I used grey one though (lol).
On the opposite I can't stand fluorescent colors. About 2 years ago wearing fluo colors, shoes, socks and pants in fluo yellow-green...was kinda normal. When I noticed that there was a lot of it around the city and at work too, I was so upset! That was a really troublesome moment for my fashion...
-I feel calmed down by the natural colors like brown or green. This is kinda sudden but if I go to Disneyland I want always to go to the Mother Farm (http://motherfarm.co.jp/)! For this, the interior of my house are all in brown and green. Desks, shelves, floor are all in wood and the curtains are brown. Being in my room is like being in the nature!
-I'm pretty concerned with my hairstyle but not so much about the color. If I'm tired of a bright color I make them black, the opposite too...About the hairstyle, even if it's been 10 years that I'm in the Jimusho I still didn't understand if they're better long or short (lol). By the way, I also change my clothes in according to my hair's color. Personally I think that everything fits with brown hair but I think that with black hair are good some calm colors like grey or caki. About hair's color, when I went to the university, I went totally *dokin* for a girl who had brown hair and dyed them in black. The opposite is great too. I'm just merely weak to the changements (lol).
-If there were school bags of different colors you may choose the one you like the most. Eh? I think it's wonderful. I think that kids can show their individuality with the color of their school bag and the choosing of the color can be an opportunity for the communication between sons and parents. If I could create one right now of the color I like it'd be purple! With a purple school bag even the old clothes would turn into fashionable ones, you'd turn in a super cool kid, right? But if I have a kid now I'd like it to be black. You have to use it for 6 years...I'm unexpectedly conservative (lol).

-My telephone, wallet, car, the table at home and even the rug are all black. I love black. Maybe all the boys will say that black is cool.
Sometimes I also felt like trying a more colorful style but black still stands out more respect the other colors, I also like this "custom role". When I come across to items that don't have black in their colors' assortment I usually buy the white one, I always think if I can dye them in black by myself. Right, recently I saw on a magazine some black cooking utensils, I want them so much! Like a black grater, black knifes. Uhm, with black you can't distinguish so well the dirt or some injures though. Once I had black sheets and pillow's covers, it couldn't be helped the trace of saliva was clearly visible...
-Of course I also have a lot of black clothes! When I have to meet at work somebody for the first time I do the possible so that he can think "This person knows better the right TPO" so I go there in all-black formal clothes. I think that black suits few people. Expecially on girls. So when I see girls that look great in black I think they're amazing. Well, if I'll ever date with a girl like this we'd look like a maphia couple all dressed in black, though (lol).
-I really think that the best hair's color is black too. Even if it uses to dye them for some roles, in my case, for example to be an attourney or a doctor, it never was necessary to change them from black. Then the few times I dyed them it was quite always a regular brown, I did it just to make sure: "I'm a Johnny's idol too!" (lol).
-Times ago some people around me told me "Shige looks good in blue". Since blue has a pure image like the one of the sky or of the sea, I wonder if it's because it gives a clean feeling. I don't really think like that though... Rather, blue is a color that I never use for clothes. Ah! But I have to admit that I look good in pastel colors! ...Even too much, it's kinda disturbing (lol). When I wear pastel colors clothes and I see myself in a mirror I feel like saying: "You are way too much fresh!".
If I look good only in those and if I can't go further than brown hair am I able to succeed as an idol!?

-When I was little I liked light blue, I always liked to draw with light blue crayons and pastels, but around 17,18 years I fell in love with the monotone black & white. Maybe I was influenced by a brand I liked at that time because it used only black and white colors. Black & White has a rockish image, I like that combination also for this. But even if it's black or white I never wear only one of them completely.
-Basically I love things with a cool taste but my game terminal and watch are pink. I don't like to have things that everybody else have. There are few boys with a pink consolle, right? So I wanted it pink. I like that color too. It seems that recently there are more boys who like to wear pink clothes too... About sunglasses, except the black and white ones I also have several red ones. Between them I have a pair that it's totally red, lens and frame. Red is a color that fits easily with everything. I use it almost for the accessories, I always search a lot of them.
-My role in Yamato Nadeshiko, Yukinojo, was always dressed in a colorful way. He never wore something similar to my usual style which is monotone. Since there everyday I had to combinate several colors I was surprised and impressed "I think I never wore anything like this before...". The one who always prepared my clothes was a boy but he was extremely good with the color's combination. Even if it was colorful there was a good unity. I thought it was cute even by myself who never uses too many colors. But still, taking that style in my personal clothes is totally impossible! I lack of that combination's skill!! See, if it's black everybody can wear it but the matter is more difficult with the other colors. In the end, monotone is the best. I want girls to wear girlish colors. What I want in a girl is femininity, like a pure white dress or a pastel color's skirt are great <3 I prefer a kawaii style than a cool one.

It's not because it was my favourite color when I was little but now I really like it. I think that yellow fits easily with every other color. I like a bright primary yellow but also a darker mustard tone. Since during the lives yellow is my image color too I can choose the clothes by myself. This summer I'd like to combinate a yellow T-shirt with some huge slack pants. The ones so large that looks like hakama. The color is black. It must have a very big impact to wear them!
-Looking back, my past telephones were quite all completely black. I also had silver and white consolles but recently I always used black. Since those are items you carry with you everyday it's better to use black ones. Somehow also my bags are frequently black. Also my room's interior is black and white. I think that it doesn't matter if the color of your wall and roof is showy but the interior should be simple, right? It may be extremist but I don't want to many furniture too. The ideal would be a side of the wall designed as a chair. In a room like that you wouldn't need furniture. I'd want an house that much simple...And inevitably I choose everything black and white. If I have to put an other color there it'd be for a little object. Like a red vase, green foliage plant...
-I like natural colors, expecially green! A big tree, a mountain, there's no need for a special scenery. I like the green you can see near to you like in the neighboorhood park or inside the city. If you're in contact with green in your normal life you think "Waah nature is really great!". When I'm busy with work sometimes I feel like wanting to see some green. In those times I go on the roof of the building and admire the landscape or I open the window of the car so that I can see the green around me. It heals a little my tiredness.
