"Full Swing" is a song that express your strong feelings, right?
M: It's a perfect song for us right now, we decided it quickly.
S: We were lost between it and "Chankapaana" until the end.
K: Yes, we liked it a lot, it wouldn't be weird to release it as a single. We wanted to have a song like that in this moment too.
T: The first time I heard it I had goosebumps. It matches our and society's condition. It's a human song, it could go on heavy rotation too.
K: We sang it putting ourselves in it, I want it to be an important song for us and our fans. "Full Swing" is a promise to the fans, a good song to say "We'll go ahead".
M: It's not a cheering song "Let's do our best", it's a song that unmistakebly says that we're going to work hard. It should become a "self-support song".
S: We're so lucky to have such a great song as coupling song.
T: After all the ones who felt the worst during the time we did nothing were fans. From now on we'll go on at full swing so wait some more!
-What are the main points in "Chankapaana"?
K: In the intro we dance close as we're connected to each other.
S: The PV filming was funny. Dancing all together. I wish we'll be able to show always good performances. Doing a live like this will be nice.
-Tegomass, how are them as idols?
M: Koyama was racing to say the solo line in the PV.

M: "Racing" was a bad use of words.
S: The flashiness he was trying to restrain, huh?

K: I can already imagine that the circle formation we create before going on stage will be really nice.

About Chankapaana
Probably we could choose a ballad expressing our feelings as comeback single but we're really positive, we want to dash ahead from now on, that's why we choose Chankapaana. The lyrics are interesting and they show our personalities. I recorded it in 5-6 versions, sexy, cute or superior, then I let the others decide.
To your dear chankapaanas
We'll surely get closer to fans with the tour and our new activities, we'll make them happy. We didn't work much lately but we're not still anymore. I want to be by their sides more and more. They waited for us a lot and many things happened, that's why we're stronger now. I'm confident that we can't lose to anybody, no other Johnny's group, no other group at all, when it comes to cherish the fans. I want them to wait a little more the time we'll be together!
The beloved sides of the members
Koyama looks over the members a lot, he loves NEWS so much. Then, he's older but totally cute. In his gestures for example (lol). I spend a lot of time with Massu, when it comes to lives he gives his opinions more than anybody else. Thanks to this I'm sure we'll be able to create a wonderful work. Shige may look cool and cold at first sight but he has a big strength inside. He seems to be cold on purpose but he's very cute.

About Chankapaana
It was the song that attracted me the most. Listening to it I thought how we could record it, I wanted it to be different from a Tegomass song. I kept thinking how to sing it, how to use my voice, etc. We talked a lot with the staff about how NEWS should sing. I want everybody to enjoy it at karaoke. You can change the chankapaana parts with the names of your friends or boyfriend. The lines inside the song are our message to chankapaanas, during the live we're going to change them a lot, it'll be funny!

The songs that NEWS sings here have a big meaning to our fans. The theme "We'll make it a beautiful love". We want to satisfy at 100% the people who loved NEWS until now, we want to show this during the concerts. Our activities have been slow but now we want to go on releasing impactful things.
The beloved sides of the members
It's really easy to be with Koyama. He has his own opinions but he's like a sponge. He's always kind and agrees with people. The thing I love about him it's his sweetness then (lol). The side I love of Shige is that he's really no good with sports with a ball. Tegoshi is the littlest one, we spoil him a lot. Basically he never brings his wallet with him when we go to eat together (lol).

We talked a lot about the music we could release in 4, we all wanted to go on with our music activities of course, we'll sing what we want to sing hoping those songs will turn into the feelings of the fans. When I heard Chankapaana the first time I was the only one who laughed a little. Like "What is this?!". But then I started humming it naturally. The melody line and sense of language is important. When we started recording we didn't decide yet what kind of single we wanted. We were very worried until the end. For me it was my first recording after around 2 years, I thought it was a shame if nothing changed in this long time. That's why I tried to take out my energy and I trained hard, and then I tried to record without putting to much thoughts in it. The lyrics are pretty embarrassing. I'm the most shy one about them.

Of course they are the fans. Thank you for waiting us. I want to make you think that we worthed the wait, I'm so thankful. I want to do my best always, being cool, funny, popular, interesting, everything's fine. I promise we'll make you enjoy it so I want you to stay close to us.
The beloved sides of the members
Tegoshi laughs so innocently, he's so cute (lol). We've got the same age but he's like my little brother. Tegoshi can say straight and convey his honest feelings, the ones I'm not able to express. Koyama always thinks to the members, he's so warm. Maybe it's because in a ceirtain way he's in the most difficult position most of the times. Massu, I don't really know (lol). I like the sides of him I can't understand.

About Chankapaana
We heard all together the possible songs. We chose thinking how we wanted to show new NEWS, probably we could go with a meaningful ballad with the message "We won't lose to anybody from now on". Anyway we wanted to shake off, to create a song that could celebrate us, so we decided a cheerful song. We decided to dance. We want to improve more and more, we were really severe about the recordings.

There are many people who waited for us...I think that the biggest payoff to them are our activities. I'm sure NEWS comeback is the number one present for them all. That's why first of all there's the tour. We'll meet directly, I want to convey all our feelings of gratitude. We and fans are always connected, I want to express this.
The beloved sides of the members
Tegoshi is the younger one, he's so cute. That's how I see him. There's also his hatred for losing. I think it's very cute. Sometimes he smiles happily but he also gets fired up, that moment in which he switches mood is really cute. Then he always says the right things to bring NEWS to the best condition possible. We're saved by the presence of such a passionate and strong person. Uhm...Massu is precious, just this (lol). His smile is wonderful, kind and bright. But he also has his own rules, he's very strict about NEWS image. Shige, well we spent 12 years together now, there are too many things.
