A fan said that she heard her son singing Sakura Girl as "Mawatte, mawatte, boku no sakana~" (=Spin, spin, my fish). Shige answered that it's really cute and since he loves fishes it's great. Then he sang amused: "Sakana no youna kimi deshita~" (=You were like a fish).
Recently he's listening to lot of Jazz music, but always the one from 60s not the modern one. Then he was impressed by this singer Esperanza Spalding who won the latest Grammys Awards.
This time he decided to just answer randomly the mails he received.
-Do you cook? Tell us a recipe!
He says that he always cooks for himself but lately he wants to be more careful because he takes weight easily.
This is the recipe he recommended:
"Make boil dashi, water, sake, mirin, soia sauce. Add tofu and shrimps, make them cook.
In the end add spinaches and let them cook for around 1 minute. Add potato starch, when the sauce is well thick pour one egg on it, cover with the lid and close the fire."
-What is Shige's favorite tea?
Assam tea and Darjeeling tea. But he never drinks tea that much. He prefers coffee and lately zero calorie drinks.
-What do you do if you receive a different drink from the one you ordered?
He would tell according to the mistake. If he receives something he doesn't like he would tell the waiter, if he gets something good he'd be ok with it XD
He says that some time ago he was in his favorite noodles restaurant and a little insect flew into his bowl. The restaurant was really crowded so in the end he ate it without saying anything, he didn't want to cause problems there. Well, he adds that in that case too it depends on the insect, if it was cockroach he would have said that!
[Damn! A cockroach!! DX I love Shige when he's being so carefree and men-like XD]
-Recommended movies.
Recently he saw "War Horse" and it was good, he loves horses. [I hate horses =.=]
Then he wants to see "Drive" and "Aoi Shio".
About old movies, he mentions "7 samurai", Yasujiro Ozu's ones, Godard's and Fellini's.
Then "Taxi Driver" and "A Clockwork Orange"
-I noticed that recently you don't wear earrings anymore, actually you wear very few accessories, why did you change?
He answered that he used to wear a lot of necklaces and earrings during school time but then they became a bother, he felt they weren't in his style anymore. He's not doing that on purpose but simply his interest in accessories decreased and he doesn't feel like wearing them too much.
[I don't mind too much but I have to admit that I loved him wearing earrings ><]

I hope you spent a nice Easter if you celebrate it ^^
This week was full of Shige and I've been very happy for him!
First he appeared in Blackboard's promotional shows, the long one was particularly interesting!
Mirai Theater was really good, besides KoyaShige talking about NEWS (Honestly, I feel like they shouldn't talk about that anymore, it gets kinda pityful since they still had no chances to come back for real - and we don't see them coming at all) I loved the VTRs. They weren't stories too cheesy or absurd, but they were impressive and moving. I also liked the interaction between KoyaShige and Hatori-san ^^
Blackboard was great! I loved the story and Matsushita Nao there! Shige's role wasn't too big but I was really happy to see him playing again, it was refreshing :)
Because of the drama I could hear only the last hour of ShigeGori radioshow. Anyway I read the tweets about it and it sounded very funny and interesting! I'm sorry I won't be able to give you a proper summary since the show is so long and there are no Japanese fans who will write it down >< Anyway when I get the recording I'll try to figure out the main/more interesting things!
The beginning of April was full of Shige and I hope the month will go on like this, possibly with whole NEWS too! ♥
