Self indulgent whining
Rough week because of money issues. How all-consuming the topic is when you have none. Finally got paid today, and I get to watch the entire cheque disappear from my bank account without ever hitting my wallet. *sigh* (Ah well, the 15th will bring a paycheque that will have leftovers! And I will have time off to spend it!)
In the meantime I just need to survive. I am not quite halfway through 30 straight days of work. It makes me think about priorities. For one, I am definitely going to get a housecleaning service asap. I just don't need the hassle. The only way the place remains even remotely ok is when I am on top of it, and I dread what a busy week or two for me will mean in terms of dirt and dust and undone laundry.
Riley turned 20 on the weekend. Now I officially have two kids in their 20's. I'm feeling pretty old now. And fat. Old and fat.
