Calling My House, Fandom? Seriously?

Someone called my house repeatedly just before midnight, and kept yelling at my mother about censorship. Seriously, this is not cool behavior, fandom. I'm sorry if I'm not responding to my hate mail fast enough, but calling my house and blasting incoherent rage at whoever answers the phone is not going to convince me to see the light ( Read more... )

No phone number on the caller ID?

Maybe they're yelling in support of you? Cause I can't for the life of me think why you'd be accused of it.

Someone seriously misquoted me a few days ago, and that someone has over three thousand followers on LJ and DW. Some of them know how to use google. *sigh*

Nevertheless, (a lovely word I rarely get to use) caller ID may be a boon right now. You know who should be calling... and knowing someone with an unknown number can leave a message might appease Mom, if it's work related.

We have caller ID. My concern was that this person was going to tie up the line by calling over and over again during working hours, thus causing client calls to end up on the voicemail. There is nothing more frustrating than a voicemail full of screeching fax machines, and a lack of timecards from which to process payrolls that need to be direct deposited by a rapidly approaching deadline.

Fortunately, she only called a few times during working hours, and has since lost interest entirely. (knock on wood)
