Okay, mostly for Dan, Stu, Rob, here are my quick thoughts on timings for a Piscina V campaign weekend ( Read more... )

Well I am up for it. Not this weekend but either of the two after that.

Do the FO charts change from game to game (thus needing different lists for every game)

I don't know if the force org charts change, I think they might, but the styles of armies certainly do (there's some stuff in the main campaign pack about what sort of fights each of these scenarios were). Bear in mind that, for the orks, you not only have what you can bring to bear, but also Caz's orks, as well as my meager horde :)

There are also campaign restrictions, and some of the missions have specific restrictions (second scenario is foot troops, bikes and dreadnoughts only, for example)

Obviously not going to happen this weekend, nor next (Charley can't make it, and it might be a little soon) so I'm going to pencil in the 23rd and 24th June as the Piscina V campaign weekend

23rd & 24th it is.

Depending on weather could we not "borrow" some tressils from spiky & play outside?

I doubt we could borrow tables, unfortunately, as it would be difficult to get them, and to return them (not least because of the times the social club is/is not open). However, I do have my pasting tables, and an outside table, so something could possibly be done - it does rely on the weather, though :)

And, yeah, you're pretty much going to need to do a separate list for each engagement. There's obviously going to be a lot of troops in common, but there's basically a different set of restrictions for each game (barring a couple of the bigger ones)

We'll need to talk through some of this in some detail. One thing I'd suggest as well is for a couple of the games that are marked as 1500s above, that we have additional 500 point "blocks", so that we can expand the games if we are running ahead of schedule, but this can all be fleshed out over a pint or two early next week

Also, from my rough measuring out, I think we should be able to fit 10 foot in the room upstairs, though there may be a step between the pasting tables and the real tables
