I got back from NC today. Now I have to unpack the tiny suitcase I borrowed from mom, just to repack a larger one so I can head to back to campus at the end of this week. I DID place an order for my books, and sadly my credit card has gotten a lot of action this bill period. Especially because I brought new shoes over the weekend. (This, being because my mother [and everyone else for that matter] has finally grown tired of my other boots.. my lovely boots...) Of course, I'm keeping my old ones.. emotional value and all.
Anyway, thanks to the updated Bb, you can now see who's in your class regardless of whether or not your teacher is actually using Bb this year/semi/whatever. Which, is very interesting. Because my physics class is HUGE. Literally. And since I don't know last names, I really can't tell whether or not I know any of these people.. except for, of course, Lucy, Alby, Val and Courtney. I did check the status of all my other classes. So, yeah. Not SO bad.. though... ugh. I'll bring that up later. *rolls eyes*
I had to send another email to my SA teach, because I think she forgot about me. And because when I get on campus, I have no transportation anywhere unless I walk. And really now, who feels like walking some 3+ miles in the snow to get art supplies, and then another 3+ miles carring it back to campus. (And this is assuming you catch the shuttle to the CVS first.) Not that I don't mind 3+ miles, But I've only done up to about 2 3/4, and I dunno how safe it is for me to walk that much UP York Road. (though, I plan on doing it in March.. maybe. But even then it would only be about 2 miles... ish) So yeah, I'm hoping I get a reply soon, atleast I'll be able to run out to Micheals, if not, I suppose I can order it and pay the extra shipping to have it at school on time.
Oh, NC was fun. I got to meet my cousin (I think?????) my dad's cousin.. I dunno. Anyway, and my great-aunt helen, and my great-uncle nate AND I got to see my aunt harriet, whom I havent seen in a while. It was joyous. ^^. I got to go to SouthPoint Mall.. which is like a 2-story srip mall, where each store seriously looks like a different builing, and you might as well be walking outside at the BTC.
Oh yeah, it took 5 1/2 hours to get down there, and only 5 back. I slept for most of it either way. I couldn't feel my legs so moving wasn't that much of an option anyway. Plus, whenever we actually stopped at a rest stop, it took a while to remeber how to walk. ALTHOUGH.. I DID buy a butterfinger flavored capp, it was delish. ^^
