Hi there! I'm an official representative of the Skiffy Awards (The Ultimate Character Centric Fan Fiction Awards), and I'm here to spread the news that the Skiffys are now accepting fan fiction nominations for 2008, Round 2. The Skiffys are different from most other fan fic awards in that each character has their own categories and sub-categories, so that if you're looking for the best of the best Hurt/Comfort or Humor for any specific character, you know where to find it. We're also open to many different universes, including:
Stargate (SG-1 & Atlantis)
Doctor Who (including Torchwood & The Sarah Jane Adventures)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel
Andromeda
Star Trek
Batman
We've launched this round of nominations early (while votes for last round are still being taken) in an attempt to get as many noms as possible. Even though the response has been overwhelming in our first year online, we're still a pretty small operation and can use as many nominations/votes as we can possibly get.

If you're so inclined and you want to nominate a story starring your favorite character, pop by and do so. You can nominate as many stories as you like and up to three of your own works. Spread the word!
