Leaps and Bounds
Dad is really making fantastic progress.
On Sunday we were able to take him out of the hospital from 11am til 4pm. We went to my brother's house for lunch. Dad was ecstatic to be out of the hospital for a few hours, though it wore him out.
He is now able to walk with a stick and eat with a knife and fork. We have been told that he may be able to go home in about two weeks. Mum and Dad will have to have their house modified i.e. hand rails etc. but we have been assured that that will all happen very quickly.
I've really enjoyed having Mum to stay - just wish it was under better circumstances. The only problem is that she wants to keep tidying up! I think she's an obsessive compulsive ;)
