I was out hunting with my cousin, we had walked probably a mile or two into the forest, we followed the stream that leads into the hills behind the town. we found a place we thought was good enough, i had taken a few deer in this area before, this was only my second trip out with my cousin he was only 12, but he was already a very good hunter. I learned how to become an expert tracker from my dad and my uncle. we got set up into some trees, and sat for a while, maybe a half an hour or so. as i sat and listened i heard some real crashing in the trees ahead of me, i got ready and waited like a stone, whatever it was it was in a hurry and it was big, or at least sounded big. I waited and waited, finally saw something up ahead, ad i got ready to cock my rifle, i noticed that this was no creature it was a girl, i watched for a few seconds as she franticly jogged by me, i lowered my gun and yelled to the girl, "hey, are you alright"..she looked at me with suprise and thinking back on it even fear, she stopped and staired at me. i started to climb down the tree i was in, when i heard my cousin holler to me from across the river, "hey Kalle whats going on"....this seemed to startle the girl, which by this point i could tell was a native Phlayan, she had the right clothes on, but her hair was a light blonedish orange color. she proceeded to yell to me "what are you doing out here, who are you with".."i am out here hunting with my young cousin, what are you doing, are you alright"..."im fine leave me alone" as i aproached her she took out a sling, and started to get ready to send it to me, "hey, what is the problem, what are you running from"...."listen to me you need to get out of here, its not safe"....she said while she stopped swinging her sling..."why not? i know these woods well....listen our settlement is only a few miles from here i wouldnt wonder to far south if i was you."..."what settlement?"...."Nova January, is my kins settlement, its been there for 38 years now, you have must have come from somehwere far, why are you running, how far have you travled"...."listen you fool, i dont have to answer any of your questions"...."id like to be able to help you if i can"...as i said that my cousin aproached with his rifle shouldered and pointing at the girl...."Regis, drop that right now"
