I suddenly realised that I didn't have any bread for the turkey sandwiches we'll be eating till March after P bought a pterodactyl for Crimbo dinner , and no rolls for work ...a carrier bag full of choc bars , but no rolls ..or magazines

I'm going to do the shopping tomorrow afternoon, everything shuts at 4 so I may get some last minute bargains :)

Rod has offered to come with me but he's a nihgtmare in busy shops so I shall do my darndest to leave him behind .

My tree isn't up yet but will be tomorrow morning

Right now it's time for more wine :)

I'd have sherry but I haven't bought that yet.

You should get some good bargains tomorrow , the supermarkets are already slapping half price stickers on loads of stuff :)

P is only a nightmare to get to the shops , once he's there he's like a kid picking up all sorts of stuff we don't need ...oh wait ...yes he's a complete nightmare !

P turns into a kid in shops , pickingup stuff we don't need and disappearing only to be found in the cd section ...I half expect him to have a tantrum when I make him leave the handful of cds he's picked up behind *g*

Shopping costs more if I take Rod and he gets all impatient and ratty so despite the fact that he keeps offering to come with me tomorrow I'm gonna sneak out without him :0

Good plan! ...and the big supermarkets are very sneakily adding extra time onto the legal opening times for 'browsing ' , you can be there and back before Rod thinks they're open :)

I have shopped! It wasn't too manic and I gt much of the stuff I needed at half price!

And now I'm going to check if the sherry is good quality, and possibly have my first mince pie of the year:)
