About 12:45 this AM, who should stroll into the house but Jeremy?
We weren't expecting him to come home till today (well, technically, he did come home "today" but you know what I mean!) and only I was awake to greet him.
So Nicholas and Jeremy are both home. Maybe Dan will come pay us a visit.
I hope everyone who is celebrating Thanksgiving tomorrow has a happy one.
We're gonna go to Golden Corral, I suppose. As I've complained before, I haven't had a dining room since December 2004 when Jim tore up my kitchen and stacked much of it in the dining room. Therefore, if I were to fix T-dinner here, we'd be eating it on our knees in the living room.
Y'know, come to think of it, even though I joke that Jim puts up with my weirdness, I think I deserve some credit for putting up with his! I haven't had a full kitchen (or any dining room) for THREE years. This really does rank right up there with the two years we spent without a dining room or living room when Jim had spread the electrical system of a 1953 Chevy pick-up truck all over the dining room table and the ginormous fenders of the same pick-up all over the living room when he was trying to restore the truck. *sigh* He finally gave up, deciding that he didn't have the time, and sold the truck. It'd be nice if he'd decide to hire someone to finish the kitchen project so I could, y'know, finally get my stuff organized again.
*hmmmmm* I suspect that it was a good thing that Jim and I found each other. No one but us would ever be able to put up with us!
