Pugsley wandered in, holding a bottle of soda. “Can I come in?”
“Yes, for your soda.”
“’Kay.” He handed her the bottle.
“It’s empty.”
“Duh, I wouldn’t give you a full one.” He peered at the book. “Whacha reading?”
“How best to terminate you. Now, I’m on lesions, but the next chapter is plagues.”
“Cool.”
