When I saw 'Silver' amongst the words, I was sure I was going to write S&S. But no . . . My muse had other ideas.
"Are you gentlemen authorized to be here?" Kojak flashed his shield. The security guard left.
"Marcus D'Silver," Crocker said. "You'd never believe he was heir to a fortune."
"You knew him?"
"Yeah; National Service. He'd walked away from the family business, when his dad began to concentrate on missiles. Marcus hated it. He hurt him mom by walking away. Said he had to. Life was too short to compromise; to wait. He believed in 'don't put off until tomorrow what you could do today'."
Kojak stared at his young detective. "How about spending Christmas with me?"
When you said yesterday that you'd also thought you'd write a particular fandom and then didn't; I guessed you too had thought you'd write S&S as well. We really were in accord.
I agree, young Marcus does have good sense. Thank you, very much.
It really is. And rather spooky in a way that we both had thought we were going to write S&S because of 'Silver' and then our muses thought otherwise *g*

Crocker beamed. "Yes, please."
