1) My family had three goldfish when we moved from Pittsburgh to Milwaukee back in 1976

2) A single (no room for a double even if I wanted/could have a double)

3) I didn't have any bread slices left, so I modified a tuna melt recipe to serve in blue corn taco shells (the original recipe's in mfu-canteen as tuna melt nachos in case you're interested)

I've always had a single and it seems to work well. It's what you are used to.

For a brief time, Ray and I had an aquarium of fish. We tried twice, but we were highly unsuccessful in keeping them alive! And - keeping the tank free of algae! I can't remember what kind except we had something called "Zebra fish."

I have a single sink on Long Island and a double in Hilton Head. I'm fine either way!

We had leftovers for dinner tonight. Ray had some leftover steak from a restaurant, plus a serving of Corned Beef Hash. I had leftover chicken and rice casserole. I cooked up a small package of frozen cauliflower that we both had. Not exciting - - and definitely not a company meal! LOL!

I always wanted a saltwater tank, but I wasn't willing to go through all the trouble and expense of maintaining it. They are really hard to keep up.

Those sound like good leftovers.

I had a couple of goldfish as a kid, in a tiny bowl. I changed the water every night (and pulled a pitcher of water to de-chlorinate over 24 hours) 100%, and they had seaweed of some kind, but that's still not enough fresh water for fair sized goldfish that shit endlessly. So they eventually died. Then about 20 years ago we got some goldfish and a 10 gallon tank. Once again, I didn't know any better and was only doing 30% water changes every week, and vacuuming the gravel. Then I found out that they needed a bigger tank, so we got a 50 gallon tank for them. They still died. Then I found out our water was waaaaay too alkaline. I tried every thing available to acidify it, all kinds of buffers. So we put in a heater and got some tropicals that were supposed to be able to tolerate high alkaline water. But, sadly, not as alkaline as our water. After the last one died I decided I wasn't going to sacrifice any more fish to my wish to have them, and gave away the tank.

Double. Singles are a PITA.

It was always something with our fish, too. finally, the last one I have got so big, I gave it back to the pet store where I'd purchased it.

I have a single, always have had, even growing up. I just wondered...

I did have a tank when I was a teenager.
I had a variety of tropical fish. :)

I have a double sink. :)

I baked up some popcorn chicken. :)

Nice. I never had the time of patience for tropical fish. I stuck with goldfish and guppies.

That sounds like a good dinner to me.
