Gomez sneezed, moaning a little. Ordinarily, he didn’t mind a little pain, but his head was a clogged mess. It felt as if it would never drain and every time he sneezed it felt like it would explode. He pushed his book aside. He wasn’t in the mood to read.
Morticia plumped his pillow and then adjusted the collar of his pajamas. “It was the delay in getting you out of those wet clothes that brought this on.”
“I know, Tish, but how often does a smack of jellyfish swarm in the harbor?
“Well, they certainly gave you a smack.”
