The Grace Brothers staff looked less than impressed. “I’m told that Mr. Grace himself canvassed three entire suburbs for these.” Mr. Rumbold was proud of his employer.

Mr. Humphreys tried to look interested, but instead came across as merely sleepy. “But why make us resell them? Isn’t having to look at them punishment enough? Sir, wouldn’t a more simplistic and straightforward approach would be to just have the food department carry these?”

“Oh, they are, but Mr. Grace ordered so many cases that the rest of the departments are have to absorb the overflow.”
