Another week gone
I can't believe we are nearly halfway through August. Good lord and little fishes. How can the time go so fast when we seem to not do much of anything? Aside from swimming at Jeff's, it doesn't seem like much is happening at all.
My thanks to everyone for their lovely birthday wishes. I felt quite spoiled by all my gifts and well wishes, both here and at home. TBG took me to a teppanyaki grill for dinner and we had a blast, but so much food!
Appliquéing is doing well and I'm on my next to last square. It's amazing how quickly this has gone as opposed to the Egyptian quilt. The applique for that one seemed to take forever.
The cats are doing okay. Jenny's blood pressure seems to be an issue right now. Who knew cats got high blood pressure. We are getting a bp machine to monitor her pressure at home. Pill taking is always a challenge, but I carry on. TBG is good at standing by and wringing his hands. Sigh...
Tina continues to grow. She's almost up to five pounds now and gets her final shots next week. Where does the time go?
