This week's questions are in honor of engineers week, the letter e and the number 0...
1) What has been your favorite job?
2) What did you like about it?
3) How can a kid become like you when they grow up?
4) What safeguards do you use to avoid mistakes?
5) What's changed in the world that you've had a hard time keeping up with?
1 Hands down, my favorite job was running the scene shop at Delta College. I loved being the foreman, person, whatever, and creating sets. I loved the construction aspect, the painting and working with the students. It was also great to be in a learning atmosphere. There was rarely a day that went by that I didn’t learn something new.

3. I wouldn’t want someone to be like me. I loved my job, but it crippled me and left me disabled and in nearly constant pain. Even after two back surgeries (and now my surgeon is discussing another one), I still have to deal with a ten pound lifting limit and restriction of movement. Even walking is a challenge. Besides, my world is gone and stage craft has moved into high tech.
4. I listen to my surgeon and obey my restrictions as much as possible.
5. Nothing really. I keep up with as much technology as I care to. There is no interest on my part to zoom, role play, or anything else. I am happy with regular books, the TV and my CDs. My computer does what I ask of it and it doesn’t mess with me (for the most part.).
