All of this and Saturday, too
The celebrating is still going on over here. Needless to say, we are much relieved by the news that Carrot Top is out of a job. Never has a race been followed with as much fervor or hope. It certainly makes me a lot happier than I was Wednesday morning.
I wish I could say that this reflect a week well spent, but most of the week was wasted, aside from a nice lunch with Jeff on Thursday and a clean house (when I get depressed, I clean). I am thinking that a lot more will get accomplished in the weeks to come.
We finally met, after nearly a year, the folks in Titan's old townhouse, well, the husband at any rate. He's a retired sheriff, his wife needs back surgery and they are raising two orange kittens. A friend found them abandoned at about four weeks old, but she was too sick to care for them. There's also an orange cat beside them. We are surrounded by orange cats! We gave them some catnip, which much interest was shown in.
Xmas stories are coming along nice, which is always a relief. Now I'm feeling much more hopeful for a nice Christmas, should be able to go like gangbusters now.
