It all sounds lovely, Darlin', and I'm so glad you had a good time! I'm not sure I would've made it down in that mine with my claustrophobia and I got chills just from your description of the temperature; you and Chris were lucky that you weren't shanghaied for your sweaters. :)
Yeah, it's humid here too, and wet from the almost daily rains, but a nice change from the years of draught. Maybe this summer we'll be able to avoid our wildfire season.
if this onslaught continues tomorrow the only course of action left available is to huddle in a ball next to the fan and go wibble. I did try to go to the park for a bit, tennis playing happened for around 10.2 nanoseconds, then I even tried for a run in the evening but nope, no good, had to give up and go and lie inside in blessed blessed cooling darkness.
It's supposed to go on for another week, at least down here. Sorry! The Welsh reporter we were listening to said that the UK has announced a heat warning. We saw many people with sun burns or on their way to one.
yes there's a Level 3 "stay indoors" weather warning for the south-east, so youre going to be driving into it. It's not been this hot in about 3 years I dont think. Be careful as theyll be lots of disorientated Brits staggering around reenacting Ice Cold in Alex.
We are thinking about it. We aren't going to be able to see the GD this fall and are thinking of surprising her on spring break (Christmas is just too crazy to fly).
