1: Pick five fandoms. List them in alphabetical order.
2: Visit
this site to find your first RANDOM POEM OF POWER. Write down the 5th line (yes, even if it's an E.E. Cummings poem and you wind up with an apostrophe). Repeat five times and - you guessed it - list 'em in alphabetical order! (No cheating, mind! This is a challenge and it's always been about creativity.)
3: I think you can see where this is going. Write a very quick 50-word half-drabble for each fandom (try to do it all in one sitting - make your brain explode!), using the line from the poem as a prompt. You don't have to include it in the half-drabble - it's just inspiration.
4: Bravo! Have a cookie.
Buffy (As confident of him as we-)
“What do we do?” Willow was panicky as she hid behind Xander.
“I say we trust him,” Buffy’s voice was tired.
“But he’s evil, he’s without mercy. He’ll take us apart and leave little pieces of us.” Xander was equally terrified.
Buffy held out her boarding pass. “He’s only security.”
Doctor Who (God help me now, how close I've come to God)
The dalek whined, “It’s up to you. You decide who lives and who dies.”
“Oh, no, not me. In the end, that’s your decision. Choose wisely.” The Doctor voice was calm and even.
“You’ll play God.”
“Not if I can help it. Don’t force me. I don’t have His Mercy
Invisible Man - (His coat’s very shabby. He’s as thin as a rake.)
Daniel shivered in the night. Kate ran up and looked around. “Danny?”
He held up his hand, then laughed. He was invisible. She couldn’t see it. He took and draped the blanket around him.
“Are you okay, Dan?”
“Don’t know why, but the wind cuts right through me these days.
Man from UNCLE (I am damn sick of getting fat like you)
“You weigh a ton,” Napoleon complained and nearly dropped him. “What are you eating?”
“The same stuff you are.” Illya slid from Napoleon’s back. “But I’m working out in the afternoons when you are napping. I’m coming back from Survival School fit not fat.”
“In your dreams.”
“Or your nightmares.”
Sapphire and Steel (The loneliness of old comes over him.)
It seemed as if he’d done this a million times. He felt weary to his soul, if he had one. Another besting of Time - nameless faces and places.
Then the sun rose and touched his face. A hand took his. “Ready?” Sapphire asked, smiling.
“I am now.” He was reborn.
