1. To a Star Trek convention in Vegas and it was amazing <333
2. I detest flying and I'll take whatever drugs and or alcohol are laying around to do it lol
3. Don't care
4. The time I flew totally alone and could just do my thing (I was 13 lol it felt very ~adult~)
5. I think once the food was edible
Yeah I could see TBG needing extra leg room! I don't think mine is as tall as yours (6ft) but he's all leg lol his driver's seat is basically in the truck box hahah
1. haven't flown in years - would no longer do it unless it was an emergency! - i don't want to be handled by security and shipped like a package last time was to San Diego from Baltimore
2. i was always comfortable
3. prefer a window seat
4. worst - we went to St Martin - the luggage went to St Croix - then back to Raleigh-Durham where it waited in the snow - 3 days later it came to St. Martin
5. best - an almost private jet for an evening flight from a small airport outside LA to San Fransisco - husband was being flown to a meeting where they needed his expertise
I've never had any trouble with security. I figure they are keeping us safe, so just put up with the lines. Because we went through the process for our GOES card, they pretty much just wave both of us through now. It was a hassle to get it, but so worth it.
Oh dear about being delayed by a crash...that must have felt sad. We've had delays for everything imaginable but never because of a disaster like that
( ... )
It happened just before we got there. The pilots misjudged the runaway and landed short, hitting the edge. The saddest was the girl staggering around in the smoke and crud after the crash, only to get hit by a rescue vehicle.
We don't see it as waste as much as making the flight bearable for my very tall hubby. Anything over three hours and he really gets cramped. Now that they don't want you wandering around on the plane, it's even worse,

TBG is 6'5", so he needs all the leg room he can get. Now he doesn't want to fly anything else. :D
