Blah, another Monday
A week ago I would have had this day off, but now I'm getting ready to head into work. The part that pisses me off the most is that Jay was the driving force behind this and guess who gets today off as a holiday? Araceli has the day off to take her niece to the doctor's, Dennis attended tech this weekend as did the guys in the back, so they will get paid and have today off. There will be no phone calls because the box office is closed on Mondays, too. Funny how that works... Yeah... I will be the only one in the office today. Grumble...
I'm countering by heading over to the doctor's this morning. I am still coughing and my chest aches in a weird way. It's time to get it all figured out. I will put a note on the door and screw it. I'll get back when I get back.
It was a pretty pointless weekend. The weather was grey, foggy, and cold (for us) - typical February weather. Oh, wait, it's January. We might get some rain tomorrow, but if we do, it will be only a trace. I worked a little on Fred's Commedia dell'arte mask similar to this Scaramouche mask.
TBG is calling it Bunnymouche. I've got it all formed and base coated it this morning. Tonight I will laid out the crosshatch pattern and paint it. I have gold trim, tiny jewels and black cord. It should look okay. Once everything is said and done, I will post pictures.
I got the Raven quilt tied, finally, and started a new quilting project. However, that was the total output of my creative efforts this weekend. Cooking doesn't count... Hope everyone else has a better one.
