Since I have updated in a while...
I'll give you a rough overview...
House: Still going well. Been working on getting a new roof. That will be completed soon. New roof will be on hopefully before we leave for vacation. Driveway will be sealed in October. Deck will have to wait till next spring unfortunately. I'm hoping to do some yard work starting next weekend. Nothing crazy - just uprooting some plants I don't want and moving some other plants around. The chores around here have suffered due to wedding stuff. I'm hoping to get some rooms painted and perhaps a bathroom done this winter. Then deck and painting the trim and redoing the landscaping next spring/summer.
Wedding: Brian and Beth got married on the fourth. It was a beautiful ceremony. I think it's amazing how weddings can be different for everyone but are essentially the same thing. They get back from their honeymoon on Monday. Brad did a great job as best man. I'm glad there are no more weddings for a while. I'm tapped w/regards to that creatively speaking. I mean I made their Adams Library wedding present, Beth's Beatles poster shower present, the towel project, I did the games for her shower, and I also made a favor for their wedding. I'm making them a shadow box and I'm done w/weddings for a while.
My stuff: I finished the wedding shadow box, got my hutch to display my wedding stuff, and I finished my honeymoon shadow box this weekend. I've been working on cleaning out the basement and moving things around to the crawlspace. I'm still doing the movie review blog, but it's slow going. I can't find my voice and my writing sucks. Also, I know no one reads it, so I figure why bother. I've not even done the movies for summer and I've seen almost all. Perhaps I'll do that sometime today...
Dog: I know I've not mentioned him since I got him earlier this year, but Teller will be 7 months old this month. He weighs 46lbs and is generally a good dog. I sometimes wish that I had a fenced in yard for him, seeing he might be happier w/more ability to just RUN...but I take him for walks and we go to the dog park and he runs in my mom's yard. He graduated from puppy training today.
