today I go over to clean up and pack away
everything that has been in our house for seven years to go save in a storeage shed- I thank god so very much that we have stuff this time to pack up. In 96 we had nothing left, this time we have so much. I just am so great ful that the water stayed just on the 1st floor, in some places the house is completely gone.
We are waiting now for the president that some people elected to decide if this was a National disaster and if any of us require funding to help get on with our lifes- so far he hasn't decided yet...
Life is good, we are staying at my sister;s place and it is nice, we may have an apt soon- just waiting for HUD to inspect it and give the go ahead- it is all awaiting game now.
I just kind of hope we are in our own place for Christmas ya know? but at least thank god we are not having to think about spending it in a shelter like so many others that had lost more. I feel sooo bad for them.
