stuff stuff
so a week ago....well more than a week ago, mooshy and i headed to the ocean city. stayed in salisbury, a town 30 minutes away, cuz all the hotels on the beach were totally $220+ per night. drove there, took a short detour to this horse park/giant tire playground/lake. there were no trash cans. do you want us to litter????
anywho, got to salisbury, checked in to a cool hampton inn, chilled on the beach, and got some stuff to eat. didn't spend too much time on the beach though, as i obviously still have my birk tan....oy. had a nice, romantic walk on the beach at sunset. i wish the earth would rotate the other way for a day so the sun would be setting on the horizon and not the other side....grrr. but it was still awesome and we played mini golf with a bunch of little duckies running around. like 20ish little peking ducks with the adults hehehe. so cute.
second day, it rained. went to mall, shopped, saw Catwoman, and headed to Baltimore. checked into another hotel. saw Jaws for the first time. wow i got really into it.
third day, went to Baltimore Aquarium. NO JELLIES!!!! what the devil!!?!??! still fun, although i had a baaddd headache so we missed the dolphin show. i feel horrible. ::sigh:: oh, and i also got to go to the Hardrock Cafe for the first time ever. thank you mooshy!
leigh's party was very nice indeed, and certain people looked very nice (especially mooshy). the kitchen was also very drool-worthy. i got to play with knives and cut up veggies. first couple hours were good. gave jono his shinai...finally lol. sorry that was so late jono. got to see....everyone, which is good cuz i haven't in forever. my leg started to hurt again though. it's been like this for a couple weeks....eerrr well....off and on for a couple months. but it's getting worse, so i figured i should leave cuz it was just screwing me up. ::sigh::
[added 6:45] managed to wake up and see lisa at starbucks. awesome hair btw. mmmmm frappacino. it's always nice visiting her, although i should also visit lisa outside of work. not that i'm only going to her starbucks for coffee, but i feel like i'm lacking the effort i should be putting in. [back to our regularly scheduled program]
today was possibly my last rocket launch of the summer, although i guess i could do it again tomorrow. however, it's quite different when it's just me, since, as i foresaw, everyone was busy with work and whatnot. thank you for all those who showed interest and/or offered to come. kinda peaceful though, assembling stuff and launching on my own and apparently we have a reputation (cuz people i've never seen...ever said "aren't you part of that group that brings the crazy, complicated stuff out here?") mwahahahhaha ::sigh:: i'm gonna miss that. had to pay today too, cuz it was the National Association of Rocketry Annual Meet(ing)....oy so much money. but i can launch almost all week. mmmmmmm ::sigh:: no time though
