i'll post about the beach later.
but i'm walking up the steps to the front door of my townhouse, and i see this crumpled up brown thing there. and i think "man, is that trash???" then i realize, it's a package, and i'm like "oh crap.....please let that be for Dad..." but instead it's suppose to be rocket tubing and a nose cone in THIS:
i came home to see THIS THING on my door step. there appears to be a government conspiracy to keep me from building rockets OR there is a very, VERY disgruntled postal worker out there. it could also be the place i ordered from but i doubt it. the quick repairs made by postal service tape kinda gives it away.
my new 2.6" nose cone survived, but the 3" paper body tube didn't. this is what it's almost suppose to look like (thinner box though):

but pretty funny too cuz....what could've happened to that?!?!
