there is very little doubt in my mind that i have, even to the smallest degree, bored, delayed, ignored, neglected to pay attention to, and/or failed to completely thank Catie and Mooshy for coming today. thus, THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH AND I'M SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SORRY YOU GOT SUNBURNED!!!!!!! ::hits self with metal rocket motor casing:: but if it makes you feel better, so did i....oooooo so did i.
i'd also like to apologize for neglecting to tell some of you who might have been interested in seeing me launch a rather large rocket, especially Hobie, whose away i saw at 7:50 this morning and then proceeded to call him. however, i wanted to limit the people waiting around for me to prep my rocket cuz it ALWAYS, ALWAYS TAKES FOREVER. plus i was being quasi-examined on my rocketry skills.
and if you haven't noticed from the subject, i passed (woohoooo!) and have obtained a license for level 1 high power rocketry motors, which are nicely sized and make lots and lots of noise. matt also passed and had a better flight than me, since i had minor "zipper" damage to a non-crucial part which i'm not going to bother mentioning b/c i doubt many, if any, people are going to know what i'm talking about.
mmmmm rocket motor approximately the size of my forearm. some of you might have noticed that i'm saying motor and not engine. this is basically for the sake of terminology - rocket motors keep burning after ignition and have to be reloaded before igniting again. rocket engines can be ignited, shut off, and reignited without having to reload propellant.
well enough of my nerd speak.
quitting express due to their pyschoness^987193070931851093561935....oooorrrrr switching to a stock position where i will have to deal with less of that pyschoness and still have my employee discount. however, i've been offered a job with the EPA, who are gonna pay me over double of express, BUT they're still pending funding approval and my job offer could go under/they haven't specified hours yet. oy. what should i do?
wanna try to fit in some kung fu training too. maybe at a local school. i want to do too much this summer. also want to travel....somewhere and soon and not with family (although there's nothing particularly wrong with that). kinda getting into this trapped-in-my-house-like-i-was-back-in-high-school syndrome. hated it then and hate it now. don't care if it's me driving across country alone and delivering a car to my relatives in LA, just want to go. maybe i'll just keep on workin at it.
next step, level 2! eerrr....maybe next summer ::thunk:: soooo tired
