Finished at the White Lodge Clinic. Had alot of fun and didn't feel hated, so that must be progress! Nick has stated that he never wants to live in Minehead ever again, so IF i took a job there I would have to live in a village elsewhere. hee hee hee.
The Govers have a German exchange student, Sebrina, who is very shy and has latched onto me as a friend, since Felicity is being bratty and not wanting to share friends or family with someone else (Last night sebrina was asking Felicity questions and Felicity wouldn't even look at her, but turned to face her mother to answer ,like she was having a conversation with her instead!! And Sebrina's Birthday was Saturday and Felicity was asked to invite friends over for a party, she made up a story of all her friends and herself being too tired and then announced at dinner she was going out to see a boy she broke up with (cause she just got dumped by her newest interest). Grrrrrr!
I find Sebrina sweet, enthusiastic for any activity, and eager to improve her english, but she has some how annoyed Kim and Felicity and they keep handing her off on me to look after. I had take her berry picking cause Kim wanted her "out of her hair", which i think is a bit mean, since she is trying to adapt and is away from home for 4 months. She does tend to follow people around the house asking them to explain things to her (How do you explain the term unsuitable???or Trespassing? (she reads every label or sign she sees) and keeps inviting people to watch movies with her (because some of them have German subtitles) or play a board game (but i think that is just her trying to adapt and be friendly)
I am leaving Wednesday for Edinburgh then London, and she looked a bit devisated when i told her. I am hoping that with a full week of school she will get some friends who will be willing to take her to things and maybe Felicity will get a talking to about her behaviour.
I always saw Kim as a very motherly person who loved to have her little chicks to look after, but I guess she was counting on Sebrina being a bit more indepentant and outgoing.
oh well.
